All events are dedicated to an Officer in need. All proceeds from Peace For Police go to the Officer and his family to help them through a difficult time. We are proud to have helped 8 families thus far and look forward to announcing this year's Officer soon.
Our Beginning
2016 Shooting of Dallas Police Officers
On July 7, 2016, 14 Police Officers for 51st Precinct were ambushed and shot, killing five and injuring nine others while wounding two civilians. The shooting was the deadliest incident for U.S. Law Enforcement since the September 11th attacks. Everyone felt so helpless not knowing how to help or what to do. There were many fund raisers and donations made. Darcy Barber along with her Police Officer husband Matt decided to do their small part. They raised over 5000 dollars the first year. They were able to fly to Dallas and present it to the 51 themselves. That was nine years ago and they're still sponsoring many events to raise money for their cause. It is a non-profit organization and donates all proceeds to a local Police Officer and family that may be dealing with life changing circumstances.
